Summary

Kier Construction are seeking an experienced site manager to join our business aligned to a Healthcare project in Glasgow



Location: Glasgow, Clydebank

Hours: Full Time, Permanent



What will you be responsible for?

As Site Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the safe and timely delivery of construction activities. You'll supervise subcontractors and Kier staff, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards while maintaining strict compliance with health and safety protocols—especially vital in a live hospital setting.



Your day to day will include:



-Managing and directing subcontractors across various work packages (e.g., groundworks, structural frame, roofing, cladding, interior fit-out).

-Ensuring all activities are carried out safely and with minimal disruption to hospital operations.

-Reviewing RAMS, conducting toolbox talks, and leading site inductions.

-Coordinating site logistics and maintaining clear communication with the wider project team.

-Identifying and resolving technical and logistical challenges swiftly and effectively.



What are we looking for?



This role of Site Manager is great for you if you have:



-HND/Degree in Construction Management or equivalent technical trade qualification

-SMSTS (5 Day)

-Black CSCS Card

-First Aid Certificate

-Full UK Driving Licence

-Experience utilising relevant site software such as Procore and Snagmaster
