Summary

We're looking for a Site Manager to join us based on our Mayfield School project in Dalkeith



Location: Dalkeith

Hours: Full Time, Permanent



What will you be responsible for?

As Site Manager , you'll be working on a large education new build project, delivering a modern, energy efficient facility for the local community

Your day to day will include:

-Lead daily site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

-Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain project timelines.

-Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.

-Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and adhered to.

-Manage site logistics and ensure efficient use of resources.

-Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

-Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.

-Champion Kier's values and promote a positive site culture.

-Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for all site activities.

-Check the quality of work delivered by subcontractors to ensure it meets project standards.

-Undertake toolbox talks and site inductions for all personnel.

-Find solutions to emerging challenges and proactively manage risks.



What are we looking for?

This role of Site Manager is great for you if:

-SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)

-CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) - Black Card

-First Aid at Work

-Experience with NEC or JCT contracts

-Proficiency in project management software and digital site tools

-Full UK driving licence
