Summary
Barts Health is seeking to appoint a Trust Doctor (ST3+) in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Whipps University Cross Hospital. This is a fixed term position of 12 months in the first instance. We are looking for the best talent to lead our ambitious new healthcare organization. In return, the Barts Health will provide unsurpassed professional development opportunities, enabling investment in a range of new initiatives.The timetable includes substantial theatre time, clinics, ward rounds and on call commitments as well as protected time for research and admin. The department is committed to education and there are daily trauma meetings. The successful candidate will be expected to take part in audit, research and education.Research and audit are strongly encouraged in this academically active department. The entire orthopaedic department consists of over 30 consultants with interests in all aspects of orthopaedics and trauma and there is complete integration of all services within this dynamic unit in terms of clinical, research and educational activities. Applicants should possess full registration with the United Kingdom General Medical Council (GMC).
