Summary


EIP Administrator – Hillcroft House, Thatcham, Berkshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to join the Community Mental Health Team situated in Hillcroft House on the West Berkshire Community Hospital site in Thatcham.

The successful applicant will support the running of effective office processes and procedures; be patient focused; have excellent communication and organisational skills; be familiar with the trust computer systems and have good IT skills.

Previous experience of administrative and telecoms work is essential to the role as well as a resilience to deal with its fast pace and the emotional and sometimes distressing nature of mental health issues.

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The postholder will work under the direction and supervision of the Business Support Manager.
• To be thecentral pointof contact andmaintainrelationships across the service,assistingthe team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures.

• Plan and arrange meetings and events which may be internal of external to the service, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made, such as room bookings, refreshments, etc.

• Attend designated meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive,takingand transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and after meetings ina timelyway.

• Ensure all office systems aremaintainedto a high standard, both electronic and hard copy, across the service, developing systems to ensure that services run smoothly through having well planned and organised administrative systems and processes in place.

• Ensure the efficient andaccuraterecording of data on all electronic systems.

• Promote effective communication channels across the service, including procedures for answering telephones and taking messages.
