Summary

To provide a range of housing support services to support disabled clients to secure social housing and other housing options suitable to their needs, and to assist elderly and vulnerable residents to remain in their homes via disabled facilities grants or home repair grants.

Candidate Profile

You will work closely with housing colleagues, occupational therapists and surveyors to coordinate housing assessments, and manage grant applications. The main focus of role will be on housing assessments for disabled residence to help guide social housing requirements, as well as helping to facilitate disabled adaptations under the DFG. Using your working knowledge of housing legislation, you will maintain accurate records, attend site visits and assist in preparing technical documentation.

The role combines technical awareness, administrative support and excellent customer service, requiring strong organisational skills and attention to detail. It is ideal for someone with experience in housing, construction and social care settings, looking to make a direct impact in the community.
