Location: Garforth (Full-Time On-Site)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Search are recruiting for a qualified and proactive Project Accountant to work with a supportive finance team for a well known business in Garforth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, looking to make a meaningful impact in a short-term project environment.
Key Responsibilities:You will be reporting straight into the Group Finance Controller where you will:
- Lead a stock reconciliation project, ensuring accuracy and consistency across inventory records.
- Review and improve internal financial processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures to support financial governance.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Design and roll out a purchase order process, improving procurement controls and visibility.
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
- Proven experience in project accounting, particularly involving stock and process improvement.
- Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Must be available to work full-time on-site in Garforth for the full duration of the contract.
