• Drive performance and meet key targets across patient access, safety, and service delivery.
• Lead strategic planning and service development initiatives with all care groups.
• Business planning, and governance frameworks, in line with care groups.
• Champion innovation, patient experience, and continuous improvement.

The post holder is responsible for the delivery of safe and effective clinical services by supporting Care Groups, ensuring that all targets, deadlines, and objectives are delivered as appropriate, achieving the performance standards, patient access targets and in line with the statutory requirements for their specialties. They will provide appropriate managerial leadership to ensure the effective functioning of the specialties. They will be responsible for the effective management of human resource, financial resource, clinical governance, and business planning arrangements. The post holder will contribute to the strategic development of services. The post holder will also contribute to the bed management rota.
