Summary
A fantastic opportunity has become available at Pixieland Saltash. We are looking for a part time Nursery Room leader, to fit well within their friendly team and learn skills on the job whilst supporting children’s play, learning & development. We are looking for a professional attitude, but with a sense of fun and excitement as this allows our children to thrive within our nursery family environment. Main duties:
- Leading and supporting your team
- Creating programmes and activities for the children
- Keep records of children’s development and liaise with parents
- Upholding safeguarding practices with your team
- Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children’s needs
- Supporting your team to develop their role with the help of your manager
- Complete transfer documents and ensure they meet EYFS requirements
Skills required:
- Good communication
- Able to use a computer
- Leadership
- Adaptable
- Ability to work as a team
Personal Qualities:
- Polite
- Patient and punctual
- Diligent

- Confidentiality essential
Qualifications:
- Must hold NVQ level 3 in childcare or above
- Minimum of 2 years experience in childcare
