Summary
The VTS (Veterinary Training Squadron) Medical Stores and Equipment Manager maintains effective Veterinary pharmaceutical management and efficient stock control measures.
Key responsibilities:
Ordering of Veterinary drugs and consumables.
Issue of drugs/consumables across the various branches within the DATR.
Stock control and management within three storerooms, ensuring records and stock align.
Obtain Veterinary records if required and book appointments for Military Working Animals (MWAs) requiring treatment.
Arrange the purchase of emergency drugs/consumables as and when required.
Raise customs forms for drugs/consumables which are sent abroad ensuring relevant policy guidelines are adhered to.
Responsible for uploading laboratory results and files to DATR veterinary management information system.
