Join us as a Securitisation Vice President
- We’ll look to you to structure and execute structured transactions with focus on loan-on-loan financing secured on commercial real estate loans
- This entails working directly with top tier sponsor clients, client-facing teams within NatWest and all support functions necessary to ensure successful completion of complex transactions
- This is a high-profile role that offers considerable exposure as well as the opportunity to make a significant impact
What you'll do
In this role, you’ll be analysing risks in facility collaterals such as CRE backed loans through deep knowledge of CRE lending, managing execution activities including negotiation with clients and documentation together with providing technical expertise required to grow the lending book in a controlled and disciplined manner.
You’ll also:
- Structure and underwrite commercial real estate transactions including loan-on-loan financing, CMBS and hybrid structures
- Provide proposals, ideas, and structures for risk and capital management to clients and inputting generally on new mandates and client pitches
- Support execution of new business opportunities in line with our Group risk appetite
- Act as key point of contact with internal support functions including credit, risk owners, portfolio management or similar
- Monitor market developments and regulatory changes impacting CRE securitisation
The skills you'll need
To excel in this role, you’ll have familiarity with rating agency methodologies and regulatory frameworks. This will be considered a positive but can be acquired on the job as well.
You’ll also need:
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and modelling skills
- Experience in analysing all aspects of commercial real estate lending underwriting
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
