Our Acute Medical Unit is a key part of the hospitals emergency pathway, and includes: Acute Admissions Unit managing unselected medical admissions. Acute Frailty Unit providing specialist care for older patients with complex needs. Frailty SDEC delivering same-day assessment and treatment to avoid unnecessary admissions.
