Are you an experienced plater with medium to heavy bespoke fabrication experience?
Are you looking for a 12-week temporary to permanent opportunity?
Benefits Package:
£17.20 per hour on days
£21.50 per hour on nights
12-week temporary to permanent opportunity
Either permanent days or permanent nights positions available
As a Plater/Fabricator you will be required to:
Measure and mark out plate and sections for cutting, shaping and drilling
Interpret engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded
Carry out dimensional checks
Use press brakes, guillotines and other production machinery
Work with 6mm – 60mm plate sizes
Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output
Candidate:
Ideally apprentice trained or time served equivalent
Must be experienced in MIG welding
Experienced with 6mm up to 60mm plate sizes and fillet welds
Competent with press brake, saws, drills, grinders and other workshop machinery
