Your new role
- Choose your preferred schedule-flexible part-time or full-time availability
- Teach using pre-prepared lesson plans
- Ensure marking aligns with the school's expectations and guidelines
- Submit a brief handover at the end of each teaching day
- Bring strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and preparatory learning
- Help drive pupil progress and engagement through supportive and consistent teaching
What you'll need to succeed
- Availability to work, whether part-time or full-time
- Solid experience and confidence in teaching Key Stage 2, especially Year 5
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to build strong rapport with support staff and fellow staff
- A nurturing approach that supports diverse learning needs
- Positivity and professionalism when engaging with children, families, and school teams
