Summary
About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
Opportunity for an experienced quantity surveyor to join the heritage team of a London based main contractor to work on Grade 1 & 2 listed buildings such as schools, hospitals, public buildings, homes and landmarks spread across the city.
Responsibilities for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Overseeing multiple projects at a time with varying valuations ranging up to £30 million.
- Managing trade packages.
- General commercial cost management.
- Site Meetings.
Requirements for Project Quantity Surveyor:
- Minimum 5+ years' experience at a main contractor.
- Experience with heritage projects, landmarks or listed buildings.
- Degree qualified and needs to be construction based.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
