Overview:
We are seeking a RICS-chartered Quantity Surveyor to support the review and sign-off of decommissioning studies for solar PV projects. This is a remote, desk-based role suitable for professionals with a strong background in civil or electrical infrastructure, building services, or renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate technical and financial aspects of solar PV decommissioning studies.
- Provide expert sign-off and assurance on cost estimates and methodologies.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Offer guidance on infrastructure-related decommissioning scopes, even outside of solar-specific experience.
Requirements:
- Must be RICS-chartered.
- Experience in renewables decommissioning is desirable but not essential.
- Strong background in civil/electrical infrastructure or building services.
- Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage ad-hoc assignments remotely.
