Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving deliveries, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders, and check for any damages or discrepancies.
Ensuring items are stored in designated locations, following proper stock rotation procedures (e.g., FIFO - First In, First Out)
Accurately picking materials according to works instructions ready for issue to production
Updating inventory management systems, track stock levels, and report any shortages or discrepancies
Communicating with procurement regarding deliveries, discrepancies, or other issues, and coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, production) to fulfill orders
Ensuring the store area is clean, tidy, and well-organized is a key responsibility.
Assisting in waste management and disposal
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Current Forklift Licence (Counter balance) would be desirable
Physical Stamina as this roles may involve lifting of heavy items
Excellent Organisational Skills
Attention to detail is a must
Problem Solving Skills
Communication skills
Team player
