The role

As an Administrator you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll provide professional administrative support to The Head of Safety Health & Environmental Protection including the administration of the business, incident reporting on Synergi and the preparation of all monthly reporting and the day-to-day administration and coordination of the department and its activities.

Day-to-day, you'll assist the Team with, drafting reports and presentations, meeting scheduling and document/report preparation. You will take part in production of the Monthly Meeting, and preparing Monthly SHEP performance bulletin.

  • Update the management data base from materials provided by the SHEP Team. Collate for review by those Managers any associated Management System documentation that may be affected by the changes.
  • Drafting SHEP Briefing Notes and Alerts.
  • Maintaining the administration of the business incident reporting software, Synergi
  • Undertake any Mandatory training as required.Manage / work within the company safe systems of work for all work-related activities.
  • Actively promote the "Home Safe Every Day" policy and report all bad practices or incidents spotted via Synergi.

Please note that this position is full time, 52 weeks Fixed Term Contract and provides hybrid working arrangements.

Experience of Administrator

  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding and experience working
  • Conversant with MS Office suite
  • Business Applications, e.g. CONCUR, IFS Portal, Agility, GBMS

Qualifications for the Administrator

  • Powerpoint training - Desirable
  • Excel intermediate training - Desirable

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
