The Aurora Group
The Aurora Group is one of the largest providers of SEND educational and care services in the country, supporting over 1,200 children, young people and adults, and employing over 1,500 staff spread across 27 services around England.
We’re currently looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable Administrator. Whilst the role is home based, there is a requirement to travel once a week to Twigworth, Gloucestershire where our Central Office provides financial support, leadership and governance to the group as well as a number of our sites across the country.
The Role:
You will be supporting the financial operations manager raising customer invoices, tracking payment, managing customer accounts and ensuring timely payments to maintain a healthy cashflow.
Main duties:
Raise sales invoices for each student
Assist with bank reconciliations
Preparation of client invoices and maintain sales ledger records
Monitor and reconcile payments received and balances due on client accounts
Ensure collection of outstanding funds is made in a timely manner and that all client queries are dealt with promptly
Supervise the Accounts Receivable Team
Building relationships with key stakeholders such as the Business Development Team and Local Authorities.
Please note that duties will vary and you will be expected to contribute to the overall aims of the team. Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:Experience of working in a finance team
Experience of implementing new processes
Able to work accurately with strong attention to detail
Able to work to deadlines
Good team working skills
A flexible and adaptable approach with a “can-do” attitude
An outgoing and confident character with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
Strong Excel Skills and ability to handle large amounts of data
GCSE Maths and English Language qualification minimum Grade 4 or equivalent is essential.
