Summary
Tiverton High School serves the beautiful and historic market town of Tiverton in mid Devon and is within easy commuting distance to the regional centers of Exeter and Taunton. We can be found just off junction 27 of the M5. We are within easy reach of areas of outstanding national beauty such as the Blackdown Hills, Dartmoor, Exmoor and close to the lovely Devon coastline.

We are seeking an Early Help Coordinator to work as part of the Year group teams, this role is focused on supporting Heads of Year to work with individual students and their families to:Ensure that students are safeguarded
Promote student welfare by providing support to meet their wider health and social and educational needs including close work with parents and carers.
Identify and remove where possible any individual barriers to supporting student learning and progression
You will be confident in liaising with external agencies, parents and other stakeholders and be the first point of contact for communication regarding Early Help / Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings. You will be organised and an excellent record keeper as well as able to be flexible with your support to enable our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and Heads of Year to work holistically with families.This contract is for term time plus 1 week for Inset Days. All colleagues will join a lunchtime duty team once a week.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check is required for this post.
