Summary

Sunderland Care and Support is a trusted provider of high-quality customer focused social and health care services. We are seeking to recruit a Team Leader to work in our Supported Living hub. The successful candidate must be able to encourage a workplace culture based on respect and dignity for those in need of care and support, who can help us ensure our company values are at the heart of everything we do.

The role of team leader involves being a practice lead, and to manage and supervise a team to perform their roles safely and to provide services in accordance with standards and legislation and think local act personal framework (TLAP) In addition, you will oversee the development and implementation of care plans that are designed to provide meaningful choice and support to those in need of care, so they can access services to help them lead the life they want.

We are looking for a Team Leader who will instil a culture of continuous workforce development through induction, probation, supervision and appraisal, as well as working in partnership with other professionals to ensure customers receive support which is designed to meet their needs.

You will be able to demonstrate leadership ability, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required in this role.
You should have experience of supporting customers within the social care sector, and either hold (or could achieve) Level 3 QCF Health and Social Care or equivalent.
