Barnstaple | £12.21 per hour | Monday - Friday | 9am - 5pm | Full time | Temporary

Acorn by Synergie are recruiting for an Administrator for a role based in Barnstaple. The role will involve speaking to members of public processing applications and providing customer service.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Job Duties:

  • Deal with enquiries from customers.
  • Keep records up to date and manage these effectively with other work streams / competing demands to meet all deadlines.
  • Work closely with supervisors on daily basis on service failures / alerts, to be able to effectively deal with missed collection reports.
  • Be responsible for customers' sensitive personal data, take personal responsibility to ensure its absolute confidentiality and security.
  • Dealing with assisted waste & recycling application and renewals.
  • Resolve case reports and respond accordingly.
  • Provide support to colleagues as and when required by manager and during periods of high demand.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of five GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above (inc. English and Maths) or proven equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of one years relevant work experience (in general administration / updating systems).
  • Level two NVQ in customer service or relevant experience.
  • Have customer-focused approach to dealing with service requests / reports.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and plan / schedule own workload driven by both customer need and service SLAs.
  • Have attention to detail / accuracy when updating records relied on by colleagues and customers.
