Summary
Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives based in the South Norfolk area. Own transport is essential due to site location.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Operative to join our window and window frame manufacturing team. The role involves hands-on work assembling frames and glazing units using various materials such as aluminium, uPVC, or timber. This is a key role in ensuring products meet quality standards and are ready for delivery or installation.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Assemble window frames and glazing units according to specifications and work instructions
• Use hand and power tools to cut, drill, and fix frame components.
• Fit hardware and accessories such as locks, hinges, handles, and gaskets.
• Assist with glazing operations (installing glass panels into frames).
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe handling of glass and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and finish.
• Any other duties as required
Requirements:
• Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or construction-related role (preferred).
• Comfortable using tools and working with materials such as aluminium, uPVC, or timber.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and carry window components.
Shift pattern:
• Monday to Friday
• 0700 - 16:00
