Summary
Night Warehouse Supervisor (Temp to Perm)
Rate of Pay disclosed on application
Location: Tamworth
Hours: 18:00 – 02:30 (Monday to Friday) – Flexibility Required
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Breaks: 30-minute unpaid break included in the shift
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all night shift warehouse operations, ensuring schedules and targets are met.
Oversee vehicle loading processes, ensuring accuracy, safe handling, and adherence to operational standards.
Coordinate and assist in the shunting of vehicles between bays and parking areas (Class 1 HGV license required).
Secure and lock up the warehouse on Friday evenings, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
Liaise effectively with day shift teams to support smooth operational handovers.
Monitor performance and provide direction and support to night shift staff as needed.
Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (HGV) License – Essential
Valid Counterbalance Forklift License – Essential
Reach Truck license – Desirable
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a warehouse environment
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for site security
Willingness to work flexible hours in line with operational demands
