NDRC Northeast Disabilities Resource Centre Sunderland
£13.02 per hour over 7 days a week, we may need you to work every other weekend including bank holidays as well as night shift.
Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Senior support staff, to work across both our Daycentre and supported living bungalows. Both are at the same site. We are looking for dynamic people who can work with individuals who may have physical/learning disabilities and mental health conditions. We are looking for people who are confident, friendly and caring and feel that they can make a difference to people’s lives.
Having the right set of skills and experience is important, but we believe this is not what sets us apart from other care providers. What makes our approach to care different is our staff's personalities and characteristics and how they are able to communicate and make our clients feel at ease; we feel emotional wellbeing is equally as important as physical wellbeing.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, and we are unable to provide sponsorship for these roles.
It is essential that applicants have their Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care Diploma.
Benefits
Our staff undergo safeguarding, food hygiene, manual handling and other training as part of their induction. Staff are also required to attend regular training courses as part of the continued professional development.
