Summary

Waverley Court

Salary: £28,046 - £32,010 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 21 per week, 52 weeks

We have an exciting opportunity to join the City of Edinburgh Council and support our Strategic Asset Planning service to move forward with a major property improvement programme.

We are looking for a Project Support Officer with a passion for change and the ability to support colleagues to deliver a complex range of property improvement projects. You will have experience of working in a business / project support environment and will want to be part of change and transformation in the public sector, improving services for the people of Edinburgh.

You will be outcome focused and will maintain excellent relationships with colleagues as well as being able to prioritise workload in a fast paced environment

We are looking for candidates with experience of:

  • Microsoft office, including being comfortable using teams, excel, powerpoint and word.
  • Building and managing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Establishing new or improved processes, helping to manage organisation workload, and being able to get the job done.
  • Communicating well at all levels in writing and in person and being able to analyse and distil information.
  • General administration e.g. ordering, minute taking, supporting with project governance tasks.

This is a part-time post (21 hours a week) offering an excellent pension package and a competitive salary.

The post is based from our central Edinburgh office at Waverley Court. We will consider flexible working and blended working is an option. Blended working is an informal flexible working arrangement, where you spend some of your time working in the workplace, as outlined in your contract, and some of your time working remotely, either in another workplace location or site, or from home.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
