Summary

Blue Recruitment Personnel is assisting a reputable recovery operator in hiring experienced HGV Class 1 & 2 drivers who also hold certifications in motorway and A-road recovery, traffic management and first aid.
These roles are essential for quick-response recovery operations in and around Royston.

About the Role:

- You’ll be responsible for carrying out recovery operations on motorways and A-roads, requiring a high level of skill, professionalism and compliance with industry regulations.
- This role involves working in live traffic environments and may include short-notice assignments, making flexibility and readiness essential.
- You must be fully qualified in Recovery, Heavy Recovery, Traffic Management and First Aid.
- These qualifications are now standard requirements for operators who operate strictly within industry regulations.
- Assignments may include short-notice call-outs requiring immediate mobilisation and longer-term roles depending on demand.

✅ Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Valid HGV Class 1 and/or Class 2 licence
- Certified training in: Motorway & A-road recovery, Traffic Management and First Aid
- Minimum 6 months of proven experience in recovery work across live traffic environments
- Ability to respond quickly to breakdown/recovery calls under pressure
- Excellent communication, strong attention to safety and procedure

Pay & Benefits:

- Hourly pay between £16.50 – £20.00, based on experience and certification levels
- Weekly PAYE pay facilitated by Blue Recruitment Personnel
