Summary
Recovery/Breakdown driver required. 4 on 4 off
Minimum age 25 No more than 3 points
Class 1 licence essential
Must be able to pass DBS Checks
Experience in the recovery of all types of vehicles,
Able to use tilt and slide bodies and spec lifts, multi car carrier, we operate a wide range of trucks from 7.5 to 44 ton.
Can do approach and ability to think on your feet,
Experience in the safe use of winches / snatch blocks / wheel skates.
Hi-AB experience, although not essential as full training will be given to right candidate.
Ideally IVR trained or equivalent.
Job entails collecting accident damaged / broken down / salvage vehicles from across the north for prestige clients.
Geographic knowledge and route planning essential ,
Must be up to date with drivers hours and DCPC.
This is not a 9-5 job, anti social hours / on call /early starts & late finishes.
Full PPE provided
1 driver 1 truck when ever possible, must be kept clean and presentable.
