Summary
About you:
We are looking for an individual passionate about customer service, water safety and poolside duties. Someone who enjoys dynamic and fast-paced environment and being on the move behind the scenes, for the purpose of delivering safe and enjoyable experience for customers. You will be a driven, ambitious and independent team-player, with positive and welcoming personality and ability to build friendly relationships with colleagues and guests.
About the role:
1. To work as part of a team to ensure members and visitors are welcomed and their needs understood via a warm friendly & professional atmosphere whilst maintaining a high standard of customer care at all times in order to generate customer loyalty.
2. To assist customers with choice & enrolment on the centres courses.
3. To be aware of all Health & Safety issues within the centre, to constantly implement & assess the practises and draw attention to any unsafe practises.
4. To promote the centre positively at all times & maintain the displays of professional material and to promote & control items for resale and hire.
5. To receive telephone, written & personal bookings & payments for use of the centres facilities
6. To ensure cash handling & reconciliation of monies is carried out and that when required to raise orders and process via the Efins system.
7. To operate the public address systems, telephones & computer booking system.
8. To help maintain the centre in a clean, tidy and pleasant environment in which to work.
9. To undertake any other duties as may be required to assist in the running of the centre.
10. Work closely where required with our partners in Live and Move and Exeter Live Better (Exeter City Council) on joint strategic projects and communications.
11. To assist with the development of Exeter Live Better as a place based brand, whilst also ensuring additional Council branding and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
12. To undertake any other duties which are commensurate with the role in support of Exeter’s place based brand “Exeter Live Better”.
