Summary
Acorns Day Nursery is a small, family run nursery based in Winnersh. With easy access to the M4 the nursery is easily located from Wokingham & Bracknell and surrounding areas with excellent links to public transport.
We are looking for a Level 2/ 3 qualified in Early Years (or equivalent) to join our lovely team. This is a full time position compressed over 4 days working 8am until 6 pm each day with an hour for lunch Monday - Thursday. However we can offer flexibility for the right individual.
Working in childcare each day is different and you will be making a difference as you support children through the most formative years of their learning and development. You will be a key person to a small group of children supporting their individual care and learning and planning accordingly whilst working within a team to provide a fun play led environment to deliver the EYFS and provide a high standard of care.
Through positive engagement and role modelling you will create an inclusive learning environment which enables each child to thrive.

What we are looking for:
*A level 2 or 3 in Early Years ( or equivalent)
*Good knowledge of the EYFS
* Experience working with children in an early years setting
*Key Person experience desirable
*Strong communication, observation and recording skills
*A fun loving individual with a passion for working with children
*An understanding of the importance of learning through play
*A team player with a can-do attitude
*An ability to follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures
*Someone committed to delivering high standards of care and education and understands the importance of creating a nurturing home from home environment for our children and their families.

A fully enhanced DBS check and suitable references is required for this role.
