Summary
Please note this is not a Swansea city council job. You will be working with a private client who received direct payments.
A little about myself:
I am a young boy living in Swansea, I have misophonia which means certain sounds can trigger me and I can be anxious sometimes. I would like someone to support me to improve my independent skills. I have a strong interest in the Swansea football team and would like it if someone could take me to watch their away games. I would also enjoy been taken out to play sport activities such as football. Music is another interest and I enjoy listening to a wide variety of different genres. I have sensory difficulties around certain foods so I will have to decide what kind of restaurants and cafes are suitable for me.
Driver required to take me out.
Male / female preferred.
Hours of work
6 hours x 52 weeks - weekends preferred but can be flexible

• Have previous experience
Desirable
I’d prefer if:
• You were male.
I’d like support with
• Accompany me to away Swansea football games.
• Accompany me to do my chosen activity.
I will need my PA to:
Respect and understand the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
Be confident, mature and have patience.
Be dependable and arrive on time.
Be friendly with an easy-going manner.
Be adaptable and flexible.
Be supportive but not take over.
Have business insurance on your car to take clients out.
Concerning the position
A trial period will be necessary in the first instance in the form of a six-month probationary period. Salary will be paid monthly (Annual leave is calculated on a pro rata basis). A DBS MUST be processed prior to any commencement of employment. Costs of DBS will be met by Swansea council where applicant is eligible.
