Summary
Contract Type: Temporary – Maternity Cover starting September 2025
Hours: 22.5 hours a week. Monday- Friday afternoons 2pm-6:30pm
Salary: £13.50 per hour
To provide high-quality care and support to children in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. As a Level 2 qualified nursery practitioner, you will assist in planning and delivering activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), promote positive relationships with children, parents, and staff, and support the day-to-day running of the room during a colleague’s maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum for our baby room
• Encourage the children’s independence and support their physical, social, and emotional development.
• Follow all safeguarding procedures and report any concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Ensure the room and nursery environment are clean, safe, and secure.
• Work closely with room leaders and colleagues to deliver a consistent, high standard of care.
