Summary
Training, completing competencies and working independently in a variety of diagnostics including; spirometry, ECGs, FeNO, sleep studies, ECG holters, BP monitors Observe practices and work fully supervised until assessed as competent, within agreed protocols and guidelines To accept responsibility for a delegated workload, depending on level of competence taking an active role in promoting independence and meeting the needs of the individual. To observe or participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). To participate in practice area specific competencies as identified and agreed by Team Leads. To maintain Personal Development Plan (PDP) and Continual Professional Development (CPD) using personal portfolio to ensure competency in clinical practice and maintain own clinical competencies The Trainee Associate Practitioner will provide compassionate care to agreed quality standards. The Trainee Associate Practitioner will keep the patient at the centre of his or her care, ensuring patient and carer participation in decision-making as appropriate.
