We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a thriving secondary school in Westbury, catering to students aged 8-17. This role offers the opportunity to work with students who have special educational needs (SEN), contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Tasks
Your responsibilities will include providing individual and group support to students with SEN, assisting teachers in classroom management and lesson delivery, and participating in the planning and implementation of educational programs. You will also contribute to creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere, ensuring that all students feel valued and supported.
Skills
To succeed in this role, you must possess proven experience working with students with SEN in a UK school setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to inclusive education are vital qualities. Experience with creating and adapting learning materials to meet individual needs is highly desirable.
