Bathgate Early Years Centre is seeking to appoint a highly motivated pupil support worker to join their forward-thinking nursery team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and who will respond to the individual needs of each child whilst providing high quality interactions for all children, promoting challenge, curiosity and creativity.

The successful candidate will work 26 hours, Monday to Thursday, ideally 8am to 3pm, 50 weeks of the year. Interviews will be held Monday 18th August 2025.

This position requires registration with the SSSC. The successful candidate will have three months from commencement in this post to register with the SSSC and work towards a relevant qualification. If you are already registered with SSSC you will be required to add West Lothian Council to your account

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made
