The Children's Commissioning Team works with both internal and external partners, as well as with children, young people and their families, to secure the best possible services at the best available value for money. We judge our success both by how we improve outcomes for children and young people and how we improve value for money. We work creatively and with high aspirations for what is possible as we redesign and implement excellent services across a wide range of children's services including SEND, Early Help and Children's Social Care (CSC).

The Commissioning Support Officer (CSO) will provide assistance to our commissioners as they develop innovative new services that improve outcomes for local children and value for the Council. The CSO will be the primary contact for the Commissioning Service and will build great working relationships with our partners. We are a very integrated team and the CSO role is an essential and valued part of our overall approach to improving what we offer our children and young people.
