Summary
ROLE: Pipe Fitter
LOCATION: Manchester
SALARY: £23.00 per hour + bonus + benefits
HOURS: Monday to Thursday 7.00 am – 4.30 pm. Friday 7.00 am – 3.30
YOLO Recruitment is currently looking for a dedicated, experienced, and knowledgeable Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter to join our new team; someone who is passionate about engaging with our values and delivering quality service levels for customers.
Full training will be provided to support your learning.
Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter – duties:
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
• Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
• Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
• Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
• Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
• Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework
• Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles
Pipe Fitter / Mechanical Fitter - about you:
• You have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process
• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter
• your own transportation or can reliably travel to site
