About the Role and our Ideal Candidate
The role will lead in deliver of the management of temporary accommodation within a wide range of property types including hostels, shared family homes and self contained units of accommodation secured under spot-purchase with specialist providers, leased from private owners and provided within the Council's own housing stock.

The role further requires management of the service to ensure properties meet health & safety standards, repairing obligations are met and minimising voids and income loss as well and the ability to manage contractors and relationships with homeless households and housing providers.

Our ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the needs and services available to residents and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of services providers, advocates and agencies

The role will also manage the emergency out of hours rota that occasionally require the post holder to be available for cover if required. Enhancements will be paid in accordance with policy.
