Summary
Our client - who converts vans into refrigerated units require a new installer at their Long Stratton site.
Job Overview
To install refrigeration units and mount kits to vehicles as per the vehicle specification.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Running cables & pipe work and secure with the correct method.
Connection of the refrigeration unit.
Commissioning of a refrigeration units.
Using a variety of handheld and power tools
Refitting parts to required QA standards.
Maintain legible and accurate paperwork in line with QA standards
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.
Be familiar with the company’s Health and Safety Policies and in particular with your responsibilities.
Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, included in the company handbook.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Have an understanding of electrics and electrical diagrams.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
Understanding of quality processes.
Must be organised and take pride in their work.
