Highgate Wood School is seeking a dedicated and proactiveIT Technician to support our vibrant school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of ICT services across the school, directly impacting teaching and learning.
Located in the heart of Crouch End, Highgate Wood School is a thriving mixed comprehensive with a long-standing reputation for academic success and student well-being. We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and technically capable individual with a passion for solving problems and a commitment to excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will:
• Provide high-quality first-line IT support to staff and students.
• Have experience managing and maintaining ICT infrastructure (e.g., networks, devices, AV, printers).
• Be confident in working with tools such as Active Directory, Office 365, Google Workspace, Adobe CC, and more.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and GDPR compliance.
• Be solution-focused and calm under pressure, with excellent communication skills.
• Be confident managing school events’ technical setups.
• Have experience managing school websites or willingness to learn.
• Work collaboratively within a team but also take initiative and responsibility.
