We are seeking a committed and capable General Cover Teacher for a full-time role in a thriving secondary school in Leeds, beginning September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a versatile professional to work across a wide variety of subjects, supporting student learning while permanent teachers are off-timetable.

Requirements:- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- A current Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Experience teaching or supporting in a secondary setting

Responsibilities:
- Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing behaviour in line with school policy
- Ensuring student safety and safeguarding at all times
- Building rapport quickly with different classes
- Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment
- Providing feedback to relevant staff after lessons
- Monitoring and recording student progress
- Liaising with department heads as needed
- Acting as a role model for professional conduct
- Encouraging student participation and focus
- Reflecting and acting on feedback from senior leaders
