Summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting for an Attendance Lead to join a dedicated SEN school in Tooting Bec. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for supporting vulnerable learners.

Job Details:
· Role: Attendance Lead
· Location: Tooting Bec, London
· Start Date: September 2025
· Pay: GBP120 per day
· Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
· Contract: Full-time, Temp to Perm

Responsibilities Include:
· Monitoring and recording daily attendance
· Following up on absences with parents and carers
· Liaising with external agencies where necessary
· Supporting the SEN and pastoral teams to improve pupil attendance
· Ensuring accurate use of school MIS systems (SIMS or Arbor)
· Contributing to the schools safeguarding and wellbeing strategies

Candidate Requirements:
· Previous experience working in a school, ideally within an SEN setting
· Experience in an attendance, admin, or pastoral role
· Confident using MIS systems such as SIMS or Arbor
· Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
· A calm, professional, and proactive approach
· Relevant qualifications or training in safeguarding or attendance (desirable)
· An Enhanced Child and Adult DBS on the Update Service is required for this role
