Summary
Brightwork are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, for a Transport Manager. This would be a full time, permanent position based out of the company’s site in Glenrothes.
A critical role for the business, you will be tasked with managing the site’s transport team, ensuring compliance and health and safety.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance to all required areas of the company operator’s licence requirements
• Maximise financial performance
• Assist with financial forecasting
• Work towards transport KPIs
• Management of drivers and transport office staff
• Recruitment and onboarding
• Training and continuous development of staff
• Other duties deemed appropriate
Essential Skills and Experience
• Strong commercial and financial understanding
• Leadership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• IT literate
• Previous experience within a transport management role
• Full UK drivers license
