Summary

We have an opportunity for a Tenancy Manager to join our in-house housing service (Mid Devon Housing) working across the district based from our Head Office in Tiverton.

As your duties will include but are not limited to:
• Have a commitment to social housing and great customer service delivery in order to be the best landlord we can for our tenants and other customers
• Accountable for an effective, quality and comprehensive customer, tenancy management service at the very core of our housing service
• Achieving high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment
• To lead, motivate and manage a wide range of core functions across tenancy and estate management including: neighbourhood estates, communal areas and shared spaces, anti-social behaviour and complex tenancy cases, safeguarding and vulnerable tenants together with allocations, rent income and debt recovery
• To be the lead Officer within Mid Devon Housing in respect of its learning and development policy and practice under the requirements of the social housing professional Competency and Conduct standard
• Leading on the delivery housing management apprenticeships and enabling us to grow and develop our teams in-house
• Contribute to the achievement of its housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators
• Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do

• An ability to solve complex problems is also important
• You must be able to organise your own workload
• You need experience in social housing management and a customer focussed service

• You will have good people skills with a passion for making a difference
