Summary

Job Description

Based in Dundee House, you will work full time 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis for the duration of the Modern Apprentice programme, October 2027.

The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area. Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants under the age of 30.

Requirements

You will have 3 Nat 5 or equivalent including Maths and English or a Foundation Apprenticeship or equivalent.

Responsibilities

To provide administrative support to the Building Standard Service by receiving and processing the various type of Building Warrant and associated applications using digitalised systems.

The Individual

You will have a basic knowledge/understanding of general office administration.

You will have IT skills and experience of Microsoft Office package i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook. You will have the ability to work well as part of a team.

You will have good written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

You will have the ability to deliver a high quality of customer service. You will have commitment and ability to achieve the full Modern Apprenticeship and to achieving SVQ3 Business & Administration @ SCQF level 6.
