Bradford is the 6th largest city in the UK. The Trust patch goes from urban Bradford right up to Settle, Ingleton and beyond. The Bradford metropolitan area is vibrant and culturally diverse with over 140 different languages spoken, with people who origins are from the South Asian continent and Eastern Europe. It is a city of sanctuary for asylum seekers and refugees. Bradford has a growing youth population with a partnership approach committed to reducing adversity and responding early to those in need. Its an area with fantastic cultural heritage - from the Bronte parsonage to the listed buildings of Little Germany and the UNESCO heritage site of Saltaire. There are areas of outstanding natural beauty on our doorstep such as the Yorkshire Dales which the trust reaches into. Most of the BDCFT district has good transport links and renting or buying property is affordable for most. Communities in our catchment range are from some of the most deprived to the most affluent, from inner city to rural farmlands and market towns. Working for BDCFT creates opportunities to work with people who face a range of challenges and present with degrees of complexity. BDCFT aspires to be trauma informed in its provision of treatment and care to people referred and their families and in its support of staff with a heavy emphasis on the wellbeing of the workforce with a strong governance structure. Please read the attached Job description and person specification for more details about this role.
