What you'll be doing:

· Planning and delivering engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5)

· Encouraging students to develop analytical thinking, historical enquiry skills, and a strong understanding of key events and contexts

· Creating a respectful, inclusive classroom environment where diverse perspectives are explored and valued

· Working collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and support whole-school initiatives and events

What we're looking for:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History or Humanities

· A passion for inspiring a love of History and helping students connect the past to the present

· Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

· A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and professional development
