Summary

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated SEN College in South Norwood starting September 2025.

This long-term position is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and challenging behaviour.

Job Details:
· Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

· Schedule: Full Time Position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
· Type: Long-term position
· Pay: £106 per day

This is a mixed-gender, state-funded special school in London for students aged 14 to 19. It specialises in supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and many students may also have Autism or exhibit challenging behaviour.

As a special school, it does not follow the typical structure of mainstream education. Instead, it offers tailored academic and vocational programmes to meet individual needs. The school currently has around 77 pupils, with capacity for approximately 112.
