Cabinet Office Digital is the Digital and Data hub for the Cabinet Office.

Our vision is to enable the department through the provision of exemplary Government Digital and Data services, supporting the digital transformation strategy of the organisation and the back-office for the whole of the Civil Service.

We are creating a digital culture where user needs are at the heart of everything we build and through data democratisation, automation, governance, convergence and consolidation we will support creating a Better Cabinet Office of the future.

We are transforming ourselves to be even more effective and efficient in the way we service our users' needs.

This exciting transformation programme will shape the organisation, our ways of working, our engagement model and our "delivery engine" enabling CO Digital to become a product centric organisation; delivering through a highly matrixed portfolio of projects and programmes.

As both Digital Partner and/or Digital Delivery Partner we advise and assure business units and Arms Length Bodies in developing their own Government Digital & Data capabilities, as well as taking on delivery responsibilities ourselves where relevant.

Our role is also to provide system leadership across the central government, pulling together back office services.

Collectively, we help support the Cabinet Office’s priority to drive efficiencies, and reforms that will make government work better, to ultimately provide a better service to the public.

The role is within Cabinet Office Digital which provides, maintains and supports the IT services (hosted and public cloud IT infrastructure, telephony, network security, internet connectivity, local area networks, WiFi, end-user devices, cloud capability and full software portfolio) relied upon by the entire Cabinet Office. Our user base of over 10,000 includes the Cabinet Office, Crown Commercial Services, Government Property Agency and a number of Ministers.

Cabinet Office Digital is conducting a broad technology transformation programme to deliver a new secure, modern and flexible OFFICIAL IT platform for over 10,000 personnel and then the migration of our people and data from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 (M365).

As Senior Programme Management Office (PMO) Support Officer for the programme, you will work closely with and support the Head of PMO, Programme Delivery team and a range of other stakeholder roles including a complex supply chain, commercial and financial colleagues in other Cabinet Office functions.
