About this role…

We are looking for a Senior Practitioner to join the Individual Placement Support Team.

We will not accept applications where Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been used to assist with completing the competency questions.

Prevention services support vulnerable people by providing them with skills, housing advice, accommodation, and tenancy sustainment support. All these services to help people transition towards leading independent lives.

You will be:

.Delivering an IPS (Individual Placement Support) employment service approach to supporting individuals with mental health issues into suitable and sustainable employment. (Training will be provided) in line with the fidelity model.
.Work directly with all stakeholders, including service users, community mental health teams (CMHTs), consultant psychiatrists and potential employees. Meeting regularly with NHS staff to co-ordinate, celebrate and integrate employment support into mental health treatment.
.Broker relationships and jobs with employers to enable clients to secure employment
.Advocate for system change to reduce barriers and improve access to the service.
.Establish new strategic relationships with key stakeholders for effective referrals and successful outcomes.
.Ensure accurate data collection, recording, reporting and maintenance of an up-to-date case management system across the team

You will:

.Have knowledge and experience of providing employment support to vulnerable people.
.Have experience in managing partnerships and cultivating new relationships with potential partners.
.Have effective communication skills across a diverse range of stakeholders.
.Have experience of line managing or supervising others, including in a volunteer capacity.
.Be organised, have good time-management skills, and be able to keep clear and up-to-date records.
.Have excellent written, reporting and IT skills
