As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in assisting with the preparation and production of high-quality meals within budgetary guidelines.
Job Description
As Demi Chef de Partie, you will ensure full compliance with client expectations, company standards, and statutory regulations, maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering consistently great dining experiences.
You will work closely with the kitchen brigade to support smooth operations and contribute to the overall success of the catering service.
Key Responsibilities
Support food preparation, production, and service in line with company and food safety standards
Assist with restaurant and hospitality service delivery on-site and across other locations as needed
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen and catering areas
Serve customers professionally and ensure service counters are fully stocked during meal periods
Maintain cost control in line with agreed budgets and standards
Follow all health, safety, and security procedures, including securing stores and stock
Support special functions, training, and additional duties as required by management
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in a chef or food preparation role
Well-presented with high standards of personal hygiene
Friendly, approachable, and a strong team player
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in food service or hospitality
Awareness of COSHH and manual handling procedures
Clear and confident communicator
